DSound Announces RT Player HiDSP

By | Tue, 30 Mar 2004

DSound has announced the RT Player HiDSP (Mac/Win), which allows you to route any VST or AU plug-in using 16 available matrix banks. You also can map MIDI controller data to control all available parameters of a plug-in, and RT Player HiDSP syncs to MIDI clock. Keyboard zone splitting, transposition, and octave banking are also included, allowing inexpensive USB controllers to trigger multiple instruments from one MIDI channel. Up to 16 MIDI ports are available for discrete channelization, and filtering choices are provided.

In other news, Dsound has announced RT Player Pro 2.5 and GT Player 2.5 (Mac/Win), which supports OS X 10.3 (Panther). The new features include Rewire support on the PC, new hot keys for track player control, a looping function inside the track, the ability to record a live performance to a stereo file on your hard drive, and enhanced MIDI mapping.
