MOTU has released a Windows version of its MachFivesampler software. The product now offers disk streaming and severaladditional enhancements. MachFive supports all major Windows plug-informats -- VST, DXi, RTAS, and HTDM -- and Windows-based hostapplications, such as Digidesign Pro Tools, Cakewalk Sonar, andSteinberg Cubase SX and Nuendo.

Other new features include the ability to import Kontakt

sound banks and REX 1 and 2 files. MachFive automatically maps eachaudio slice in a REX file to consecutive keys on the keyboard forconvenient sample-style triggering. Both of these new features
