LONDON (Reuters) - Aging rocker Mick Jagger, renowned for hisbad-boy image and a long list of female conquests, is set to receivethe ultimate accolade of the British establishment -- a knighthood,newspapers reported Sunday.

"It's Sir Mick (and not for his services to women)," read theheadline in the News of the World. The Sunday Times said: "At last, HisSatanic Majesty is called to the palace."

Neither Buckingham Palace nor Downing Street would comment on thereports that "Old Rubber Lips," who turns 59 next month, will beknighted by Queen Elizabeth in her birthday honors list next weekendfor his services to music over some 40 years.

"We never comment on honors until they are published," a DowningStreet spokeswoman told Reuters. Added a palace spokeswoman, "I have noidea and no comment."

The reports said Jagger, who has fathered seven children by fourwomen, was put on the list after joking in a television documentarylast year about missing out when other pop legends such as PaulMcCartney and Elton John have all been honored.

"Jagger's failure in the past to bag a knighthood has been put downto his hedonistic lifestyle," the Sunday Times said. "Since he firstcame to prominence with the Rolling Stones in the early 1960s, he haspublicly played the bad boy."

Jagger and the Rolling Stones are revered for hits like "(I Can'tGet No) Satisfaction," "Brown Sugar," "Sympathy For The Devil" and"Jumpin' Jack Flash."
