Critically buzzing Los Angeles-based indie pop pair THE SCORE release their debut EP, Where Do You Run [Republic Records], today at all digital retailers. Music is available HERE.
Among its four tracks, the EP boasts the duo’s ubiquitous international hit, “Oh My Love.” The track has already notched almost 4 million streams on Spotify to date as well as reaching #1 on the platform’s Viral Chart. Kat Krazy’s version of the song currently climbing at HypeMachine, recently among the top #15. Meanwhile, Diffuser proclaimed “Oh My Love” “Instantly catchy,” while PureVolume described it “as just as sunny and bright as Southern California.”
Worldwide, “Oh My Love” remains a true phenomenon. Soundcloud plays surpass 2 million, and it was featured in a massive advertising campaign by UK retail giant ASDA [owned by Wal-Mart]. In the UK, it peaked at #43 on the Top 40 chart and #17 on the iTunes Overall Top Song Chart also becoming the #2 “Most Shazam’d” in the country.
In addition, the title track, “Where Do You Run,” “Livin Right,” and “Something New” illustrate THE SCORE’s uncontainable music energy and ability to craft unshakable pop hooks even more. It’s worth running to…
THE SCORE’s Eddie and Edan first met in 2013. They started feverishly writing songs together, creating a vision for the band while simultaneously landing placements with the likes of Kat Graham. After carving out a devout following around New York with countless gigs at Rockwood Music Hall and other notable venues, they traded The Big Apple for sunny California and penned “Oh My Love” shortly after the move in 2015. Following its worldwide success, they signed to Republic Records.
