Two of the top names in electronic dance music, Skrillex and Zedd, will perform in Israel on November 5th at the Minus 424 Dead Sea Rave. Taking place in a breathtaking location at the base of Masada, an iconic ancient fortress, and the lowest point on earth (424 meters below sea level), the sunset-to-sunrise event is expected to draw 20,000 people. Now in its third year, the Minus 424 Dead Sea Rave will feature an elaborate stage, pyrotechnics, special effects, a vast dance space and VIP areas. Due to the festival's remote location at the Dead Sea, special shuttles will be provided from Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion, Haifa, Jerusalem, Beersheba and Eilat.
California-born Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) is one of the biggest artists to emerge from the American electronic music scene. He has six Grammy Awards to his name, including one for Best Dance/Electronica Album for 2012's Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, and one for Best Dance Recording for 2013's Bangarang. A DJ and music producer with a relentless touring schedule, Skrillex may be best known for his ability to connect to huge festival audiences.
Zedd (aka Anton Zaslavski) is a Russian-German musician, DJ and music producer whose first album, Clarity (featuring with the vocals of British singer, Foxes), won the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. He has worked with Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim and Ariana Grande. In 2015, Zedd released his album True Colors and toured festivals around the world, including Coachella and Tomorrowland.
All attendees must be 18 years of age or older to attend the Minus 424 Dead Sea Rave. Tickets start at $58. For tickets, packages and reservations, see www.minus424.com.
