The American DJ Steve Aoki heads up the latest ground-breaking collection of the Spanish company Hawkers, a special edition called "Neon”. It's a new product line designed for the summer, which has been presented with a revolutionary video inspired by pop art artist Andy Warhol in which we can see the electro house king eating one of his famous cakes.
At the beginning of the 80's, Warhol was the star of a video which entered the history of conceptual art, in which he simply eats a hamburger. He was later followed by the video of Macaulay Culkin eating a pizza and it´s now Steve Aoki who puts out his own version, with one of the main elements of his concerts: the cake that he usually throws at the audience during his shows. The point of doing it, is to announce the "Neon” Special Edition by Hawkers, whose name corresponds with Steve Aoki's world tour. The new product line, includes six models, each one featuring a different color (green, blue, purple, red, yellow, and pink), which all together make a colorful and vibrant collection.
The collection of these unisex polarized sunglasses, provides a major glare reduction and a 100% UV protection due to its neon lenses and its black arms.
It has a light structure, without any metal pieces, made of the high-quality and highest resistance polycarbonate of the market, together with the lenses produced by prestigious German manufacturers.
