The International Festival of Music Producers and Sound Designers “Soundedit” will be held for the 7th time. During this year’s edition it is going to be possible to hear, how to organize events such as “Live Aid”, how it was to work on “The Wall” film set, how did illustrious “Smoke on the Water” or “Child in Time” emerge. The organizers plan the unique concerts as well.

We are delighted to invite all the connoisseurs of music, albums and concerts to Łódź for the 7th edition of the International Music Producers Festival Soundedit ’15! We hope that during the three days (22nd – 24th of October) Łódź will become the sound centre of Poland and Europe once again. Moreover, on the 25th of October, in the courtesy of Metal Mind Production, we would like to invite you to Atlas Arena for a show of Deep Purple.

Traditionally, Soundedit is not only about concerts, but - first of all - meetings, workshops and lectures of our outstanding guests. Like every year, the festival will be visited by the producers, composers and artists responsible for the sound of many legendary albums, EPs and records. Do not miss the official and backstage stories that make this Festival unique.

Thanks to National Centre of Culture, within the “Ojczysty – Dodaj do Ulubionych” (“Native language – add to Favourites”) Project, on Saturday evening (24th of October) will start with a unique show of Wojciech Waglewski. This time, “Wagiel” will perform with special guests: Maria Peszek, Leszek Możdżer, Fisz, Emade, and – naturally – with Voo Voo band. After the concert, during the award ceremony, Wojciech Waglewski will receive “ The Man with a Golden Ear” Award for “timeless achievements in music production and for the artistry of words”.

After years of trying, in Łódź, we will welcome a great musician and producer, Deep Purple bassist – Roger Glover. The artist will receive “The Man With a Golden Ear” award for “entirety of achievements in a domain of music production”. As Glover will meet the festival’s audience, there will be a possibility to hear, how did the famous albums “In Rock”, “Machine Head”, “Made in Japan” or the latest “Now What!?” come into existence. The musician will perform with his band on Sunday in Atlas Arena in Łódź.

We are proud to announce, that a laureate of Soundedit ’15 award and absolutely special guest of the Festival is… Sir Bob Geldof! Musician, composer, producer and organizer of extraordinary shows like “Live Aid” or “Live 8” tour. Although he started his career as a regular manual worker, he was nominated for Nobel Peace Prize – twice and the Queen of England conferred him a noble title. He composed one of the most known and touching songs “I Don’t Like Mondays”.

Sir Geldof will be also awarded “The Man With a Golden Ear” “for unique contribution to mankind trough music”.

The multi-entrance tickets for 50PLN will be available until 30th of June. From 1st of July the tickets for all the festival events will cost 120PLN. The one-day tickets will cost 70PLN. Tickets available on: ticketpro.pl, biletomat.pl, biletyna.pl and in the point of sale in Wytwórnia club.

The theme of Soundedit ’15 stays the same: “I Am The Sound”. This is what every member of the audience of Soundedit ‘15 would say after participating in workshops, panel discussions, lectures and concerts. We will announce new, surprising events of this year’s edition of the Festival soon.

I Am The Sound – I am the tone. I am the music. Welcome to Soundedit, welcome in Łódź.
