The album features 19 tracks of original score composed by eight-time Academy Award®-nominated and multiple Grammy Award®- and Emmy Award®-winning series composer James Newton Howard. Among those pieces, the Soundtrack ends with “Deep in the Meadow” featuring Jennifer Lawrence. The song reunites Howard with star Jennifer Lawrence for a stunning and striking vocal performance following their RIAA platinum-certified collaboration “The Hanging Tree” from last year’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 Official Soundtrack Album.

In addition to the soundtrack release, New York electronic dance music luminary Baauer provides a remix of “Deep in the Meadow” that features Jennifer Lawrence. Combining tribal percussion and trance-style soundscapes, it expands the song into the electronic realm, adding another dimension.
