Another Planet Entertainment and Noise Pop are excited to announce the music lineup for the ninth annual Treasure Island Music Festival (TIMF) to be held October 17-18 in San Francisco. 2-Day GA and VIP tickets will go on sale Thursday, June 11th at 10 a.m. PT at treasureislandfestival.com.
This year, TIMF will bring to the Bay Area the critically acclaimed indie rock band The National, who are only playing four shows worldwide in 2015, as well as the six-time Grammy nominee and EDM pioneer Deadmau5, who will perform for the first time in San Francisco since 2011. TIMF 2015 will also welcome Swedish dance-pop maestro Robyn with her new project La Bagatelle Magique, which will mark their only North American appearance in 2015, Scottish electro-rock trio CHVRCHES, and indie rock group The War On Drugs.
Additional Festival performers include Azealia Banks, Father John Misty, Run The Jewels, Panda Bear, Gorgon City (live), Drive Like Jehu, who haven’t played the Bay Area for over two decades, and more.
At Treasure Island Music Festival, fans will never miss a note of any of their favorite artists, as there are no overlapping sets. In addition to the star-studded music lineup, TIMF will provide an array of fun activities at the festival, including the iconic 60-foot Century Ferris Wheel surrounded by an ever-changing eclectic mix of interactive art installations and roaming performers. Festivalgoers will also have unparalleled panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay while they enjoy spectacular performances and some of the best cuisine the Bay Area has to offer. 2-Day tickets for the Festival go on sale this Thursday, June 11 at 10 a.m. PT at treasureislandfestival.com. A limited amount of 2-Day general admission Early Bird tickets will be available for $149.50, and when those run out the price will be $169.50. Additionally, VIP 2-day tickets are available for $315.00, with perks including a preferred viewing area next to main stage, an exclusive tented lounge with full liquor bar, special restroom facilities, VIP food concessions, and additional amenities that will be announced in the upcoming months. 2-Day parking will be available for $80.00.
