TRENDING: HBO Releases New ‘Vinyl’ Trailer

Music Industry Drama to Debut in January

We don't know about you, but we can't wait for that glorious winter day when our binge-watching queues will suddenly get way more awesome: Vinyl, the upcoming HBO drama about the ’70s music industry, is inching closer to its January 2016 debut, and a new trailer has just been released.

The series, created by Mick Jagger and Terence Winter (Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos) and directed by Martin Scorsese, traces the rise and fall of the fictional label American Century Records, led by boss Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale).

Will the series be an accurate representation of the industry of 40 years ago? We don’t care: Any show that features music from The Stooges in its trailer is ok by us.
