Andover, MA –– Fishman is pleased to announced that UK fingerstyle guitarist Steve Fairclough has been appointed Brand Ambassador and will represent the company's full product line in Europe. A veteran of the UK fingerstyle scene, Fairclough will host clinics, product demos and in-store events on behalf of Fishman and its European distributors.
Steve has written competition pieces for Total Guitar and Guitarist, and was a Patron of the Bath International Guitar Festival, These days his music is heard by literally millions of people due to his TV, Radio and Film work.
Fairclough recently played a string of solo UK dates with special guests such as Muriel Anderson, Ed Gerhardt and Richard Gilewitz. For the past two years he has worked as a Pro Audio Consultant, allowing him to share his many years of studio knowledge working alongside major corporations such as Intel.
Over the last few years he has worked as a clinician and demonstrator for many of the world’s top guitar brands, and his tours, clinics and concerts have earned him accolades as a ‘guitarist’s guitarist’.
Commenting on his new position, Fairclough said, “I am very happy to be working with Fishman. My association with Larry goes back to my first job in the industry as demonstrator for the Parker Fly guitar back in the early 90’s.
