Brainworx has released bx_dynEQ and bx_boom (Mac/Win), the company's latest dynamic EQ plug-ins.

According to the manufacturer, bx_dynEQ and bx_boom are designed to be used for de-essing; dynamic EQing of mono-, stereo-, and M/S signals; bass-drum tuning in final mixes and drum groups; dynamic stereo-widening using the M/S features; M/S compression and limiting; and sound design.

The main features of bx_dynEQ and bx_boom include the following: 1-band and 2-band dynamic EQ; mono, multi-mono, and stereo (L/R & M/S); Brainworx filters; a complete set of filter types for both main audio path and sidechain; low and high shelving, peak bands, bandpass filters, highpass, lowpass, bass-shift, and presence-shift; new solo modes; M/S stereo width control on any stereo channel; M/S cross-feed; a dedicated Bypass switch in the plug-in GUI; a "mouse over" feature that lets you adjust the parameters by holding the mouse over any knob and turning your mouse wheel; and much more.
