GoGirlsMusic.com, Onstage magazine, and The AmericanLiver Foundation are presenting the GoGirlsMusicFest "Get Hip ToHep C," a series of concerts across the country to raise awarenessabout Hepatitis C. The 2002 events will take place between October 3and December 8 in cities from Los Angeles to New York. According toGoGirlsMusic.com, Hepatitis C infects 1 in 50 American adults and isfour times more prevalent than HIV. It is also the No. 1 reason forliver transplants in the United States. Date change: The dates of the turntablist festival,Turnament, have been revised. The new dates are July 11 - 12, 2003. Inaddition, the event will take place in a new venue, to be announced,rather than Royce Hall at UCLA.
