Record stereo or 4-capsule omni audio directly to an SD card with the pocket-sized PalmTrack. Recording with the PalmTrack is easy and flexible. Monitor while recording on headphones and watch the real-time level meters, or use Auto Mic Gain. Connect the PalmTrack to your Mac or PC with its mini USB jack or insert the SD card into your computer's SD card slot or reader. Choose 44.1- and 48kHz sample rates, select an MP3 bit rate from 64 to 320 kbps for max recording time, or uncompressed 16/24-bit WAV for broadcast-quality recording. The PalmTrack has four onboard mics—select two for stereo, four for omni pickup or plug your mic into the 1/8-inch mic input or any line-level source into its 1/8-inch line input. Onboard signal processing includes chorus, pitch shift, delay, reverb, a tuner and an MP3 voice canceling to remove vocals from MP3s.

Tascam HS-P82 Portable Recorder
The HS-P82 from Tascam is a high-quality, 8-track digital field recorder for music, TV and film production. Features include eight mic preamps, XLR inputs, eight AES/EBU inputs and outputs (DB-25 connector) and recording with timecode up to 96kHz/24-bit (8-track) or 4-track at 192kHz/24-bit. In addition to the eight independent channels, a stereo mix can also be recorded for a total of 10 channels. The unit has no moving parts, using dual Compact Flash slots for recording with backup. The HS-P82 is housed in an aluminum chassis with a TFT color touchscreen. Tascam BB-800 SD Recorder
The BB-800 portable SD recorder is built to make recording portable and simple. Four mics record to SD Card media at CD or MP3-quality, and a pair of XLR inputs is also available for using external mics. The BB-1000CD offers uncompressed recording SD Card as WAV or MP3 files. The recorder can blend two mics on the front of the unit, two mics on the rear and a pair of XLR mic inputs with phantom power as the recording source. Tracks can be played through the built-in speaker system, and looped and slowed down without changing the pitch. The built-in tuner and metronome provide audio/visual feedback for practicing students. AA batteries power the unit or use the included power supply. The BB-800 also includes a wireless remote for starting the recording from anywhere onstage.

The C24 24-bit/96kHz portable recorder includes an omnidirectional microphone, a mounting adaptor and is the only portable recorder that is light enough to attach to a mic or music stand.
