Korg expands its MR Series of digital recorders with the rackmount MR-2000S 1-bit studio recorder. This ultrahigh-quality recorder records and plays back in superlative 1-bit formats (1-bit/2.8MHz or 5.6MHz), as well as various multibit PCM resolutions (16-bit/44.1 up to 24-bit/192kHz). The MR-2000S offers detailed and highly visible metering, an 80GB internal hard drive, S/PDIF coaxial jacks for PCM sources, word clock sync with other devices, and includes AudioGate format conversion and editing software. Measuring a mere 6.5x3.7x1.4" inches, the PMD661 features switchable balanced mic/line XLR inputs and a S/PDIF digital input, as well as unbalanced line outs on RCA connectors and a secondary unbalanced line in on 3.5mm mini-jack connector.
