The VT-24 features four independent channels of microphone preamplification in a 3RU (5.25"/13.3cm) high unit, the same size as the VT-2 Dual-Channel version. The VT-24 uses the same tubes and circuit components as the VT-1/VT-2, including custom Jensen input and output transformers.

It features switchable +48V phantom power, a switchable 20dB input pad, polarity (phase(phase) reverse switch, and a special input circuit for matching non-standard low-impedance microphones. Four true VU meters monitor the output level of each channel.

Gain is 53dB maximum, perfect for all condenser microphones and most high-output dynamic mics or active ribbon microphones. All specs match those of the VT-1/VT-2 preamps.

The VT-24 is switchable between 120 and 230V mains power with a rear panel recessed slide switch. The unit can be configured for 100V operation with internal jumpers.

Even with eight tubes, the VT-24 runs cool and does not have an internal fan.

List price of the VT-24 is $8300. It will be in full production by late May 2014. Orders
