Electro-Harmonix will launch a new mobile-friendly website designed to optimize the user's experience when viewing content on a smartphone. Site content will load quickly and be sized for small screens, while navigation elements will accommodate use with fingers, not a mouse and keyboard. The features on the website’s mobile version will mirror the standard site, including social sharing and product video features, and be accessible through any mobile web browser.
Creating a mobile-friendly site was a key strategic project for the company’s marketing team because of the rapid rise in traffic from emerging markets where smartphones are the primary device for web browsing and product research.
