Day 1 of the NAMM show, aka Short Attention Span Theater for music technology geeks. You move from one shiny object to the next, always taking mental notes to come back later for a closer look, maybe on Day 5. That’s right, Day 5 never comes.

Rest assured, we will go in-depth with a lot of this gear later. But so far, we’ve seen a lot of cool synthesizers (many of which are full analog), interesting new controllers of all kinds and plenty of promising pro audio hardware.
