First Act Announces Emerging Artists Program

First Act continues its commitment to artist development with an exclusive nationwide Emerging Artists program.  This unique opportunity provides qualified applicants with reduced pricing on First Act’s SFA and Limited Edition line of guitars, V-Stack amplifiers and pedals -- offering developing artists their first gear endorsement deal.  Two levels of the program are available based on an approved criteria;   experienced and eligible applicants are selected by First Act. First Act will also dedicate a toll free 800 number to this project -- giving these sponsored artists special attention and direct access to an Emerging Artists representative for anything and everything relating to their First Act gear.

Chairman and CEO Bernard Chiu states “First Act is dedicated to supporting up-and-coming artists and what better way to show our support than offering quality guitars and gear at prices that work within the budget of a touring artist? They’re out there on the road, driving themselves from show to show, setting up all their own gear, all while trying to win over fans and sell records. This is rock and roll. We embrace it, we love it, and we understand the plight of the emerging artist.”

Applicants apply through the First Act website. Click here to check it out.

The last year has been explosive for First Act, highlighted by the now famous VW campaign featuring Slash playing First Act guitars through a “stack” of Jettas. Over the last couple of years, their guitars have been featured everywhere from Franz Ferdinand’s Nick McCarthy playing his custom axe at the Grammys to appearances in videos and numerous tv appearances by First Act artists. Some of the musicians who have played their custom guitars include Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Brad Rice of Keith Urban, Mike Scott of Justin Timberlake, Al Berry of Avril Lavigne, Henry Garza of Los Lonely Boys, David Hidalgo of Los Lobos and Bill Kelliher and Troy Sanders of Mastodon amongst others.
