New product bundles will also be on display as SONAR users will now have the option to surround sound encode with SurCode for Dolby Digital or SurCode for Pro Logic II without having to leave the SONAR DAW. Appearing directly in the application export menu, this step will automatically launch and populate the SurCode user interfaces with the selected audio files from a surround sound session. Seamless integration creates an end-to-end surround sound production environment from within SONAR. Cakewalk will first make these SurCode products available to qualified users as a download and will include the encoders as part of the application installer in the next future release.

Compressor 3, already rich with industry-standard codec’s such as MPEG-2 and H.264, is a powerful batch processing application designed to deliver multiple distribution formats from a single project. Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio users will have the option to expand from Dolby Digital only, to Pro Logic II and DVD-DTS with the addition of SurCode plug-ins to the Compressor 3 suite.
