The two-day destination music festival kicked off the World’s Loudest Month festival series and featured a massive all-star rock lineup including Avenged Sevenfold, The Cult, Rob Zombie, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Staind, Volbeat and A Day To Remember, along with breaking bands such as The Pretty Reckless, Nothing More, KYNG, Twelve Foot Ninja (2014 Revolver Golden Gods’ Best New Talent), and many more.

Each day, Monster Energy's Welcome To Rockville entertained 20,000 fans of all ages from around the U.S. and various countries with music, band autograph signings, interactive experiences, a Monster Energy VIP area with beverage sampling, and a variety of food and beverage options, including local gourmet food trucks. Festival-goers visited the Crazy Dave's Music Experience interactive “rock star” exhibit to get hands-on interaction with tons of musical equipment, much of which is used by their favorite artists performing on stage at the show.

Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown showed his support for Monster Energy's Welcome To Rockville and the festival’s efforts to help revitalize downtown Jacksonville by addressing the crowd Saturday afternoon.

Full Metal Jackie, Host of Loudwire Nights, said, “Rockville #4 is in the books and was a perfect way to kick off the World’s Loudest Month. Two full days of rock, sweat and beers--aka the perfect storm of good times.”

Jennifer Kessinger of WJXT-TV (Channel 4 in Jacksonville) called Welcome To Rockville, “a big party with 20,000 of my closest friends.”

“We are proud to report, that for the second year in a row, downtown hotels were sold out during the festival weekend and business was dramatically increased in the area,” says Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville producer Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents. He continues, “The fact that we’ve increased attendance at the festival by 60% in one year shows that there’s a demand in the market and that we have room to keep expanding. We’ll continue to do everything we can to keep rock alive at Met Park and build Jacksonville as a destination music city not only for rock music fans, but for the artists themselves.”

Monster Energy's Welcome To Rockville is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents and anchors the World’s Loudest Month festival series. The World’s Loudest Month features the biggest names in rock music performing in six distinct concert atmospheres across the country on five consecutive weekends.
