While deep into the current analog synthesizer Renaissance, Novation last year released one of the greatest digital synthesizers in some time, the 8-voice Peak module. Its excellent new Oxford oscillators and real analog filter made made it nearly indistinguishable from proper analog sound, while also providing many digital wavetables, a modulation matrix, incredible hands-on control, integrated effects, polyphonic aftertouch, and unique sonic character.
All of that plus a decent price point added up to the Peak earning an Electronic Musician 2018 Editor’s Choice Award.
Now, whether you’re a lucky owner of a Peak or simply want to find out more, Novation’s monthly Beats & Bytes Facebook Livestream will crack open some of the Peak’s secrets and best tricks, as well as answer any questions from the audience, on Thursday, January 18 at 4pm Pacific Standard Time.
For the Peak episode of Beats & Bytes, one of Novation’s product experts will show you how to program some great sounds on the synthesizer and take live questions. The videos stay archived on Novation’s Facebook Videos page, but you have to be there live to take full advantage of this interactive event.
