Need vocoded samples of "Merry Christmas" recorded in 12 languages for that surprise holiday project? The PFX Holiday Pack ($19) from PowerFX is available in the nick of time. This collection also includes keyboard loops of "Auld Lang Syne," "Silent Night," and other seasonal mainstays, as well as sound effects such as fireworks, champagne corks, sleigh bells, and even a few glitch beats.

PreSonus has announced plans to include Applied Acoustics Systems Session Series instruments (lite versions of AAS releases) with its recording systems. The PreSonus FireStudio will now ship with the AAS Lounge Lizard electric piano and Ultra Analog Session virtual-analog synth as part of the PreSonus ProPak Complete Software Suite. The bundle also includes Steinberg Cubase LE, IK Multimedia AmpliTube, FXpansion BFD Lite, and Sonoma Wire RiffWorks.

Broadband DeNoise Native (Mac; $1,295), part of the NoNoise II native restoration suite for Mac OS X, is available from Sonic Studio. Broadband DeNoise Native is designed for wideband noise removal in post-production and features integration with SonicStudio's SoundBlade.

The Spectral Shapers 1.2 (Mac; $99 for download, $150 for boxed version) filter plug-in bundle is available from SoundHack. Now compatible with Digidesign Pro Tools 7.0, the update also includes Universal Binary support for its VST, AU, and RTAS plug-ins. MORE.
