Camel Audio has updated its Cameleon 5000 additive synthesizer with Universal Binary support. Version 1.7 also provides VST 2.4 compatibility, improved standalone and RTAS performance, minor bug fixes, a new bank of 70 presets, and a new tutorial. The update is free for all registered users at Camel Audio's Web site.

Garritan is shipping Stradivari Solo Violin (introductory group buy price: $139; regular price: $199) virtual violin software with Universal Binary support. Stradivari 2 customers can upgrade to the new version for free at Garritan's Web site.
