The WZ3 Monitor is the latest addition to Allen & Heath's MixWizard line of monitor mixers. The console sports 16 mono mic/line inputs, 12 mix outputs (available in mono or as six stereo pairs), a stereo monitor output, and a headphone output with level control. Input channels feature the WZ3 preamp, a passive mic splitter, and individual phantom power. Like other MixWizards, the WZ3 includes four bands of EQ, individual card and nutted pot construction, and a Quick Change Connector pod.

Focusrite has introduced the newest member of its Saffire family of interfaces, the Saffire Pro 10 i/o. The 19-inch rackmount unit features the same preamps and converters as the Saffire Pro 26 i/o, as well as SaffireControl Pro software. In addition to eight preamps and eight balanced line outputs, the Saffire Pro 10 i/o has stereo S/PDIF and MIDI I/O, as well as a pair of headphone outputs with volume control, highpass filters on every channel, and a selection of bundled VST or AU processing plug-ins.

Monster is shipping the Pro Power 200 AV PowerCenter ($39.95) for AC power lines. The Pro Power 200 boasts Monster's Clean Power Stage 1 filtering, Dual Mode Plus surge protection, two protected AC outlets, two LED indicators, and 24-carat-gold contacts.

New from PowerFX, Gabbi Masso Oriental String Ensemble Sessions, Vol. 1 ($49) is a collection of Middle Eastern string-ensemble phrases and one-shots for Bollywood-leaning productions. Available in Acidized WAV and Apple Loop formats, the collection comprises 125 string-section loops and stabs.
