Ableton has announced Sampler ($199), available as part of an upgrade within Ableton Live 6. MORE.

Alternate Mode has announced the Receptor AM ($2,275), a 2U rack-mountable multi-timbral sound and effects module that runs standard VST instruments and effects. The Receptor AM comes with a drum and percussion sound library and also includes free VSTs and trial VST plug-ins.

Camel Audio has announced CamelCrusher (Mac/Win), a freeware VST and AU plug-in. CamelCrusher is available in Universal Binary format and offers two distortion algorithms and an analog-style lowpass filter.

JazzMutant has released Lemur v. 1.5. The updated Lemur has an improved JazzEditor with a revised workspace, an expanded object library, and a new Module Import/Export feature.

Precisionsound has released the Indian Harmonium SampleSet ($39) for HALion, Kontakt, and SoundFont.

TC Electronic is shipping the M350 ($249) Effect/Reverb, a dual engine 1U processor. The M350 can be used with an AU/VST compatible software editor that allows you to automate all 355 presets and parameters or control them in real time. The M350 software editor is available as a free download from TC Electronic's Web site.
