Beta Monkey Music has released Pure Country II Drums (WAV/Apple Loops/REX2), using the same instruments featured in Drum Werks VII. The collection offers over 700 loops and a complete matching multi-Velocity sample set.

Big Fish Audio has released Funk Quartet (AIFF/Apple Loops/REX/WAV: $99.95) a library that ranges in influences from the jazz-inflected funk of Roy Ayers and Lonnie Liston Smith to the pop of Stevie Wonder and the "cartoon" funk of Parliament/Funkadelic. The DVD-ROM offers 2.8 GB of loops and 73 construction kits ranging in tempo from 78 to 109 bpm.

Although still in beta, Reaper (Win: freeware) looks like a promising digital audio and MIDI sequencer that supports DXi and VSTi.
