Arturia demo version of Analog Factory, CEntrance upgrade to Universal Driver, MiniMusic NotePad music notation software, Ohm Force updates, new version of Submersible tempo synchronization software and more...

Arturia has released a demo version of Analog Factory (Mac/Win), which is available as a free download from Arturia's Web site.

CEntrance has announced an upgrade to its Universal Driver (Win) for FireWire audio interfaces. Version 2.0 supports devices from Apogee, Behringer, Echo, Focusrite, ESI, Mackie, Miglia, M-Audio, PreSonus, and Tapco.

MiniMusic has released Version 1.4 of NotePad music notation software for the Palm Platform ($29.95). New features include scrolling playback, mid-song tempo and instrument changes, expanded support for keyboard commands, and a new page view that displays 20 measures of music at once on a handheld computer's screen. The NotePad 1.4 upgrade is free for customers who bought the 1.3 version or upgrade, but a $5 upgrade fee is charged to owners of earlier versions.

Ohm Force has announced that VST, Audio Units, and RTAS Universal Binary versions are available as Release Candidates, and the updated PowerPC versions (free for current owners) will be available soon. Submersible is shipping DrumCore 2, a new version of the software which offers tempo synchronization with ReWire hosts, separate outputs with pitch and pan controls for its MIDI drum sounds, REX export capabilities, and extra loops, fills and drumkits.
