Electronic Musician Product News includes Big Fish Audio Vir2 Instruments VI.One, EastWest Zero-G and Xfonic SoundSense Series, and more

Big Fish Audio has released Vir2 Instruments' VI.One ($399.95), a 20 GB sample library that includes over two thousand instruments, kits, and other sound effects for every musical style. Powered by the Kontakt Player 2 engine, VI.One works as a standalone and is accessible within sequencers via AU, VST, RTAS, and DXi.

EastWest has announced Zero-G and Xfonic''s SoundSense Series, which features four sample libraries: Ambiosis, Trance Inducer, Technomatik, and Chilled Grooves. Each library ($59.95 each) includes dance, club samples in Multiformat, Apple Loops, AIFF, ACID, WAV, Stylus RMX, and REX2 formats, except for Ambiosis, which includes all but Stylus RMX and REX2.

Groove Monkee has released a third-party MIDI library for XLN Audio's Addictive Drums. Groove Monkee Rock ($39.95) has 1,500 royalty-free MIDI beats and fills covering 10 styles of rock music, as well as over 200 extra drum fills and 100 intros. The beats, which are formatted for Addictive Drums, GM ,and Session Drummer 1, are also available in BFD, EZDrummer, DFH 1, DFH 2, DFH C&V, DFHS, Reason, Groove Agent, and IMAP formats.

Minnetonka Audio Software is shipping AudioTools Batch Pro ($1,495), an automated batch processor for converting, encoding, and applying plug-ins to sets of audio files. To use it, just specify input files, configure a chain of processors, set parameters for each processor, and run the job.
