Ask Video has announced the Melodyne Tutorial DVD (Mac/Win; $55), which includes 34 instructional videos for Celemony Melodyne studio, cre8, uno, and essential.

Drums On Demand has introduced More 4/4 (from $49.95 to $99.95), a collection of 30 song sets with more than 1,000 loops in WAV, Apple Loops, and REX2 formats. All loops are played in straight-time, in tempos ranging from 64 to 165 bpm.

Eventide has announced that its Anthology II (Mac/Win; $995) plug-in bundle will be available as a Universal Binary and is optimized for Intel-Macs. Available in October 2006, the update will be free to current Anthology II users. MORE.

FabFilter has released version 1.20 of FabFilter Twin and FabFilter Volcano (Mac/Win; free for registered users). The updated plug-ins have been improved with MIDI Program Change support, interactive help, an added polarity setting to Twin's LFOs, reduced memory usuage of Twin by 50 percent, and bug fixes.

Toontrack has released the RTAS version of Superior Drummer 1.5.6 (Mac/Win) as a free download for registered users of dfh Superior and Superior Custom and Vintage. The update is compatible with Pro Tools systems and features improved multiple instances support on CPUs.

Ueberschall is shipping The Voice, Volume 2 Liquid Instrument (Mac/Win; $199). The Voice has 300 vocal phrases (the equivalent of 2,400 loops) and 8 different tracks for each one. It also lets you edit single voices and melodies within the choir.
