The Producers Conference is where top artists and producers reveal their secrets. Artists and professionals pull apart technologies and tracks to take you deeper into the music-making process, as well as share their insights into the music-making business.

The "Record: Design Concept and Interface; Creating with 'Flow' with Gerry Bassermann lays out the why, what and how behind the development of Propellerhead''s recently released Record software. Line 6 Propellerhead product specialist Matt Piper, in "Unleashing Creativity With Record," will demonstrate how he streamlines his creative workflow while offering arrangement tips and tricks; covering Record''s Arrange window, contextual tools and navigation, comping editor, tempo control, multiple racks, new devices, Line 6 technology, Reason integration and enhancements, and more. Joe Solo, Michael Elsner, Peff (aka, Kurt Kurasaki) and others will discuss topics such as maintaining creativity during production, careers and roles in the music biz, and answer questions from the audience in "Artist Discussion." Peff will also discuss "Signal Flow and Effects in Record," focusing on many of the insert effect Combinators and the design concepts behind this part of the Record Sound Bank. He''ll demonstrate the processing power of the mixer channel strip with these insert effects and show how to clarify and enhance music tracks. Finally, Joe Solo and Elsner will show off their work and dissect individual tracks to reveal how they got their sound and what inspired them.
