Mark 7 electric piano is now available as a virtual instrument for UVI users. While sharing the same electro-mechanical design with its ancestors, this piano also offers new features.
The company first carefully tweaked the instruments to obtain the most homogenized playing sensation possible and then recorded direct from the internal microphone to a custom Universal Audio preamplifier plugged into the Prism Orpheus converters using Vovox uniques cables. The company sampled up to 14 velocity levels and the release sounds for every note. Everything was captured at 24-bit/96kHz.
The Seventh is available now for $79 and is compatible with every configuration thanks to the free UVI Workstation. It's also fully compatible with MOTU BPM, Beat Production Machine and MachFive2.
