Attention filmmakers, video directors and all creative idea makers, Veam is looking for you. As sponsors of the SXSW 2012 Film Festival Awards Show and Reception, newly launched media venture Veam announced the start of their scholarship competition for filmmakers through their Veam Dreams contest at last night’s show in Austin, TX.

Veam believes there is enormous potential value in the creative community. Sometimes all it takes to transform a kickass idea into a reality is a little bit of cash! With that in mind, Veam will be awarding a large handful of creators with the financial support they deserve. Ideas for a web series, tutorial shows, short film, or other creative film/media ideas are now being accepted.

Applicants can fill out Veam Dreams forms at the website before May 15, 2012. Scholarships range from $200 to $1000 per project. Announcement of the award recipients will take place on May 22, 2012. As an additional bonus, Veam will help create the film’s own mobile app that will make the film available for sale on any mobile device.

Veam is a free service designed to help filmmakers and musicians deliver their products directly to their intended audience through the creation of effective mobile apps optimized for video and music.

On top of working tirelessly on the product, the Veam Team also collaborates with the creative community to make sure that the platform helps them build exposure, develop real profits and reach their target markets directly. Veam is committed to the delivery of real and lasting value to filmmakers and musicians.
