“Remarkably, one if the most sought-after pieces of vinyl on Saturday [for Record Store Day] was the new double-A side single from the reconstituted original lineup of Veruca Salt…The demand was well-deserved, as both ‘The Museum of Broken Relationships’ and especially ‘It’s Holy’ crackle and burn just like the band used to. The strangely off-kilter harmonies by Louise Post and Nina Gordon sound simultaneously comfortably classic and bracingly fresh…’It’s Holy’ feels like a lost gem from the band’s heyday…and the charging, chunky guitars should not only rouse some top-shelf middle-aged head-banging when the band heads out on tour but should also attract a new generation of sugar-seeking girls looking to riot. Recently reunited Veruca Salt released their first new material in over fourteen years this past weekend on Record Store Day via Minty Fresh Records, and today they continue the streak with the video premiere of “The Museum of Broken Relationships” via Stereogum. “The Museum of Broken Relationships” is one of two new, quintessential VS songs on the band’s RSD 10-inch vinyl, which also features new track “It’s Holy” and their classic hit “Seether.” PRESS HERE to watch the video now.

The band also announced last week that – for the first time since 1995 – all four original members will hit the road for a U.S. tour. Both NYC shows, their hometown tour date in Chicago as well as Los Angeles and Boston are all SOLD OUT. See below to find a show near you and PRESS HERE for tickets, because they are going fast.

Veruca Salt is Nina Gordon (guitar/vocals), Louise Post (guitar/vocals), Steve Lack (bass), and Jim Shapiro (drums).
