Vienna Symphonic Library’s New Multi-Dimensional Virtual Instruments Collection

The Vienna Symphonic Library has just released its newest addition to their revolutionary “Dimension” series of ensemble instrument collections. Vienna Dimension Brass II complements the original Vienna Dimension Brass I with muted ensembles and a brand new Wagner tuba ensemble. Coinciding with a special introductory offer ($495, regularly $595) the Viennese company has reduced the prices of their existing brass libraries by 20% during the month of July, 2015.

Muted Brass Ensembles and Wagner Tubas
Vienna Dimension Brass II features four brass ensembles of four players each. Apart from the three ensembles (four trumpets, four trombones, four French horns) that were recorded exclusively with classical “straight mutes”, the Collection includes an all-new ensemble of four Wagner tubas rarely found in other libraries. These unique instruments were originally created for Wagner’s 16-hour epic opera cycle “Der Ring des Nibelungen“ and are characterized by a particularly noble and somber sound like that of trombones, but with a less incisive and mellower tone, like that of French horns. As with its predecessor Vienna Dimension Brass I, the players of these ensembles were recorded in groups using dedicated microphones for each of the four players, resulting in a homogenous sound while still allowing individual access to each voice in order to change its stereo position, sound characteristics and volume.

New Dimensions in Brass Performances
Like all other Vienna Instruments Collections, Vienna Dimension Brass II comes with the free Vienna Instruments player. To make the most of these multi-dimensional samples, the use of Vienna Instruments PRO with its extended features is highly recommended. For example, the Auto-Divisi mode splits voices between players, and with tailor-made Humanize Presets the performance accuracy of all four virtual brass players of an ensemble can be controlled in real-time, at the single touch of a fader – from subtle tuning and timing variations to heavy cluster effects.

Introductory Offer and Further Discounts Through July 31, 2015
Customers who order Vienna Dimension Brass II will receive the collection for $495 through July 31, 2015 – a savings of $100 off its regular price. Additional “Complementary Discounts” are granted to users who have already registered one of the company’s bundles, including the Brass Bundle, Winds Complete, or the Vienna Super Package. What’s more, the prices of all existing Vienna Instruments Collections and Single Instruments in the Brass category, as well as the company’s Special Edition Brass Sections, are reduced by 20% during the month of July.
