JBL Professional has introduced the LSR6325P ($399 each), a bi-amplified monitor with a 5.25-inch low-frequency transducer powered by a 100W amplifier and a 1-inch damped titanium-composite high-frequency transducer powered by a 50W amplifier. Housed in a cast aluminum enclosure, the LSR6325P produces a frequency response of +1.5 dB/-2 dB from 70 Hz to 20 kHz with bass extension, according to the manufacturer.
JBL also states that an LSR6325P system, used in conjunction with the LSR6312SP Subwoofer and its integrated RMC Room Mode Correction system, provides accuracy at the mix position, from 20 kHz to below 30 Hz. The LSR6325P includes balanced +4 dBu XLR and unbalanced -10 dBV RCA inputs, as well as front-panel volume control and power switch. The system is magnetically shielded for use near CRT monitors and the LSR6325P is available individually or in a 5.1 configuration with the LSR6312SP subwoofer and RMC calibration kit.
