M-Audio has introduced the StudioPro 3 ($99.95), a desktop monitor with a 3.25-inch low-frequency driver, a 1-inch high-frequency dome, and an MDF cabinet. Both drivers are magnetically shielded to protect computer and video monitors from interference.

The StudioPro 3 has an RCA input jack on the rear panel, as well as a stereo Aux input on the front panel for connecting devices such as portable music players. A front-panel stereo headphone output, which mutes the sound from the monitors, is also included. The rear-panel Bass Boost control allows you to add low-frequency gain.

The StudioPro 3 has an internal power supply that can operate with AC power sources ranging from 100V to 240V (50-60 Hz), allowing you to use them anywhere in the world. Wedge monitor stands are included so you can adjust the monitor's horizontal level.

The StudioPro 3 has a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz (+/-3 dB), a 2.3 kHz crossover frequency, >80 dB dynamic range (typical, A-weighted), an input impedance of 10 kOhms, and an input sensitivity of 90 dBA SPL.
