Propellerhead Software has released Reason 3.0 ($499), which adds the Combinator device, a new sound bank, the sound browser, and pre-configured controller mappings for all Reason devices. The Combinator device lets you create, save, and recall complex instrument patches and play them as one instrument.
To use Reason 3.0's Remote technology, just connect any supported controller to your computer and Reason will handle the settings. The Remote technology supports over 35 controllers.
Reason 3.0 also includes the MClass mastering suite, which offers a mastering EQ, a stereo imager, a compressor, and a maximizer. For more information visit the Propellerhead Web site, or their US distributor, Line 6.
