Zoom has introduced three new products: the RT-223 RhythmTrack rhythm box, and the GFX-1 and GFX-3 effects and modeling pedals. The RT-223 includes rhythm and bass sequencers, 70 drum kits (including five human-voice beat box-style percussion kits) with 440 drum patterns, and 12 bass sounds. A drum kit can hold 39 sounds, and the sound sources can be freely selected and assigned to the 13 pads. You can fine-tune pitch, level, and panning, and store up to 58 user-programmed kits. To create a bass line, you can play the pads, which have assigned chromatic pitches.
The GFX-1 offers instant access to four effects patches and lets you choose among five amp models and five distortion effects: 34 guitar effects, including dynamics, drive, modulation, and ambience are included, and up to eight can be used simultaneously. Forty memory presets are available.
The GFX-3 adds an expression pedal and offers 10 amp models and 10 types of distortion. The expression pedal can be used for volume, wah, pitch, distortion gain, modulation speed, and reverb mix. There are 60 presets and 60 user memory slots in the GFX-3. Other features include a chromatic tuner, ZNR (Zoom Noise Reduction), and 11 hours of continuous operation from four AA batteries.
